Reception Plants
Reception children have been very busy planting over the last few months. We make sure we water the plants every day, and we have been busy weeding too.
We grew beans in bags stuck to the classroom windows and walls. Some of them didn't get enough sunlight, but a few grew really well and are now growing up canes in the garden. They have even started to flower!
We have also seen a few strawberries. When they are nice and ripe we have been picking them to have a try. The children have described them as sweet and yummy.
