This half term Reception are being Artists. We started reading the story 'The Dot' and explored that just making a mark can be seen as Art. The children experimented with different marks that they could make and used their imagination talking about what they could be. Children created a collaborative piece of marks and then went away and created their own.
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
