Safer Internet Day
Last week, Hammond participated in a number of activities for Safer Internet Day. This year focused on change online, which covered:
-Young people’s perspective on new and emerging technology
-Using the internet to make change for the better
-The changes young people want to see online
-The things that can influence and change the way young people think, feel and act online and offline
Children participated in an assembly and received a PSHE lesson focused on
Internet Safety. Year 5 enjoyed a special live lesson from the BBC around fake
online content.
