GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
Some of our children from year 3 to 6 recently took part in the annual cross-country finals held at Tomlinscote school. All of the children ran brilliantly, completing the very wet and muddy course! A special mention to Holly who placed in 3rd in a very tough year 5 and 6 girls’ race. We are so proud of everyone who ran – well done!
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
