Year 3 Plants
Over the past few weeks, Year 3 have learnt all about plants.
In week 1, we set up an experiment to see what factors affect plant growth; we have been observing the changes and are fascinated by what we have seen so far.
We have looked at the different parts of flowering and non-flowering plants and discussed their functions.
In Art, we have explored how plants have inspired artists’ work and have started to develop a plan for our own wire sculptures. We have been using different gauges of wire, as well as decorative materials e.g. tissue paper to create our final designs.
