Year 3 cohort have settled in to life at Hammond exceptionally well
The Year 3 cohort have settled in to life at Hammond exceptionally well. We are so impressed with how well they have adjusted!
Our first wider curriculum lesson was a hit! We explored forces using our own wheeled vehicles and discussed how different surfaces affect how an object moves. In Reading, we have started to read our class text ‘Greta and the Giants’ which is centred around environmental awareness and human activities that prompt climate change. We have explored first person pronouns in English. In Maths, we have started to explore how to equally divide 100 in different ways. We look forward to the children immersing themselves further into Year 3 life.
