GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
Forest School have done all sorts over the last term: fire work, tool work (starting with peelers and progressing on to using the bow saw this week!) risky play (involving lots of sticks and tyres) and crafts. A particular favourite week was natural clay week, some chose to make tree faces, some made animals and one of our students even made a bird bath!
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
