Sensory Garden
Thanks to the HSA and a very generous donation from Homebase Brookwood and with the hard work of Mr Ryan and Mrs Belsey, Hammond Junior School is proud to present our newly refurbished sensory garden.
The garden has 4 separate areas:
Water and aromatic plants,
Sand and fake grass/bugs,
Flowers and insects' friendly zone,
Tuff tray for sensory activities.
We hope this bright and happy garden will provide a lovely calm and relaxing place for anyone who needs it. We would also like to say a special thank you to RDK Ltd Garden Landscaping and Tree Surgery for donating a large and very good quality piece of fake grass which enabled us to cover 2 benches as well as a large planter.
Not only will the garden remain green throughout the winter, but this is also providing great sensory feedback, not to mention a comfortable spot to sit or lie down!
