Feathers and Fur Falconry -Year 6

Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre came to Hammond Junior School for a wonderful visit to enrich Year 6's reading lessons on Skellig by David Almond. The children were an absolute pleasure to teach, all being totally focused and engaging with answers and questions about the 4 birds that we bought to visit. The children met a Barn Owl called Bailey, a Snowy Owl called Gimli, a Tawny Owl called Ash, and European Eagle Owl called Norman.

Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre is based at Moss End Garden Village in Bracknell with Birds of Prey such as a Peregrine, Owls and Hawks on display.  The centre is open Tuesday – Sunday, with no booking necessary to see the birds.
