Year 5 News
In Wider Curriculum, Year 5 have been delving into history by exploring various artefacts, with a focus on Ancient Greek pots. They have particularly enjoyed practicing their drawing skills by creating silhouettes of Ancient Egyptians engaged in sports. This week, they put their learning into action by painting their own designs onto handmade ‘pots,’ bringing history to life with creativity and enthusiasm!
In PSHE, we have been focusing on well-being and the importance of supporting others. As part of this, the children wrote positive and motivational phrases on the playground for their peers to read.
